Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey brings over two decades of luxury design experience to Field Flower Collective. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, she thrived as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, where she mastered the art of scouting inspiration across fashion capitals from Paris and Tokyo to Istanbul and Seoul. Her expertise in negotiating optimal production processes in Hong Kong, China, and India translates directly into efficient commercial project management. As Creative Director for Kitex USA, where she created the brand Little Star Organic, Margo developed a keen eye for brand-building through physical environments. After founding Field Flower Collective in St. Johns County, Florida, she now applies her fashion industry precision—that deep understanding of color theory, textile behavior, and visual merchandising—to creating commercial spaces that are as strategically designed as they are beautiful. A proud mother of two, Margo understands the importance of spaces that work hard while looking effortless.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she majored in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design—a foundation that informs her minimalist yet impactful approach to commercial design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery's multicultural background enables her to create spaces that resonate with diverse clientele and reflect varied brand identities. Her passion for DIY and proficiency in minimalism makes her particularly skilled at maximizing commercial spaces with clean lines, intentional layouts, and budget-conscious solutions that never compromise on style. As a mother to a young daughter, Nery brings empathy and understanding to projects serving family-oriented businesses. Her international travel experience and cultural fluency allow her to incorporate global design trends while maintaining the warm, approachable aesthetic that Florida businesses need to connect with their communities.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to Field Flower Collective's commercial projects, with a comprehensive background spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations management. Having lived across North and South Florida, as well as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, she understands regional business differences and how to adapt design solutions accordingly. Now based in St Johns County, Alana leverages her luxury retail experience to ensure every commercial project delivers not just beautiful aesthetics but also operational efficiency and enhanced customer experience. Her gift for project storytelling helps clients visualize their completed spaces, while her self-proclaimed mastery of multitasking means she can juggle multiple vendor relationships, installation timelines, and client communications without missing a beat. As a mother to her son Gianni, Alana understands the importance of creating commercial environments that accommodate working parents—both as business owners and as customers. Her meticulous attention to operational details ensures projects stay on schedule and within budget from consultation through final reveal.
