Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey brings over two decades of creative leadership to Field Flower Collective. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, mastering drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design. Her fashion career included serving as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, and Creative Director for Kitex USA where she created the brand Little Star Organic. Throughout her career, Margo scouted inspiration in world-class cities including Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, while overseeing production processes across Hong Kong, China, and India. Her passion for textiles and decor, sparked during these fashion experiences, led her to transition to interior design after relocating to St. Johns County, Florida. As a proud mom of Scarlett and Beau, Margo founded Field Flower Collective to create flexible employment that allows her to attend both major milestones and everyday moments while bringing her refined aesthetic sensibility to residential and commercial spaces.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia is a multidisciplinary designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she majored in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery brings a rich cultural perspective to her design work, drawing inspiration from her love of travel and experiencing new cultures. As a mother to a beautiful daughter, she understands the importance of creating spaces that balance aesthetic beauty with family functionality. Nery's design philosophy centers on minimalism and DIY innovation, bringing a clean, thoughtful approach to every project. Her proficiency in creating streamlined, uncluttered environments helps clients achieve sophisticated spaces that feel both calming and purposeful. At Field Flower Collective, Nery leads design initiatives that transform client visions into reality through careful attention to proportion, negative space, and intentional material selection.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to her role as Director of Operations at Field Flower Collective. Her comprehensive background spans merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operational management, providing the perfect foundation for coordinating complex design projects from concept through installation. Having lived across North and South Florida, as well as in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, Alana brings a diverse perspective to understanding client needs across different regions. Now residing in St. Johns County with her son Gianni, she combines her professional expertise with a deep understanding of what families need from their living spaces. Alana is a self-proclaimed master of multitasking who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously without missing a detail. Her gift for storytelling and client communication ensures every project runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and client expectations are exceeded. Her operational leadership allows the design team to focus on creativity while she manages logistics, vendor coordination, and project timelines.
