Margo Tomsey brings a distinguished career spanning two decades in the fashion design industry to her role as founder of Field Flower Collective. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design, Margo thrived in leadership roles including Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, and Creative Director for Kitex USA, where she created the brand Little Star Organic. Her extensive international experience includes scouting inspiration in fashion capitals like Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, while overseeing production processes in Hong Kong, China, and India. This global perspective and her refined understanding of textiles, color theory, and design fundamentals now inform her approach to creating elevated commercial and residential interiors. A proud mother of two, Margo founded Field Flower Collective to redefine creative careers for parents, building flexible employment that honors both professional excellence and family priorities.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia serves as SVP Design at Field Flower Collective, bringing exceptional creative expertise honed at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with majors in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery's multicultural background infuses her work with rich perspective and appreciation for diverse design aesthetics. Her passion for DIY projects and proficiency in minimalist design principles enable her to create spaces that are both beautifully curated and highly functional. As a mother to a four-year-old daughter, Nery understands firsthand the importance of designing commercial environments that balance professional sophistication with practical, real-world usability. Her love of travel and experiencing new cultures continuously inspires fresh approaches to color, texture, and spatial composition, while her minimalist sensibility ensures every design element serves a purposeful role in the overall aesthetic vision.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to her role as Director of Operations at Field Flower Collective, with deep experience spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operational management. Having lived across North and South Florida, as well as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, Alana understands diverse regional aesthetics and business cultures, now applying this knowledge to serve commercial clients throughout St. Johns County. Her gift for storytelling and project narrative development helps translate client visions into actionable design strategies, while her self-proclaimed mastery of multitasking enables seamless coordination of complex commercial projects involving multiple vendors, contractors, and timelines. As a proud mother to her son Gianni, Alana is personally invested in Field Flower Collective's mission of creating flexible, meaningful employment for creative professionals who are also dedicated parents.
