Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design. She thrived in fashion design for two decades, serving as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids Global and Creative Director for Kitex USA where she created Little Star Organic. Her career included scouting inspiration in Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, while overseeing production in Hong Kong, China, and India. After 20 years in apparel design, Margo made a purposeful shift to interior design, founding Field Flower Collective in St. Johns County, Florida. Her passion for textiles and décor, sparked during her fashion experiences, now drives her commitment to creating beautiful, functional commercial and residential spaces. A proud mother of Scarlett and Beau, she built Field Flower Collective to redefine creative careers for designer-mothers.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, majoring in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, she brings a multicultural perspective and passion for minimalist design aesthetics to every project. Nery loves to travel and experience new cultures, drawing inspiration from diverse global influences. As a mother to a beautiful daughter, she understands the importance of creating spaces that balance sophistication with everyday functionality. Her proficiency in DIY and minimalism, combined with her formal training in design disciplines, allows her to craft commercial interiors that feel both intentional and effortlessly elegant. At Field Flower Collective, Nery leads design strategy, translating client visions into cohesive, well-executed interior environments that reflect contemporary sensibilities while honoring timeless design principles.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to Field Flower Collective, with a comprehensive background spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations. Having lived across North and South Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, she currently resides in St. Johns County, Florida. Her diverse geographic experience informs her understanding of regional design preferences and client needs. As a proud mother to her son Gianni, Alana is passionate about creating work environments that allow professionals to balance career excellence with family priorities. Known for her storytelling ability and exceptional multitasking skills, she manages multiple projects simultaneously with precision and grace. A self-proclaimed sunshine seeker and die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan, Alana's bucket list includes RV travel throughout Canada. At Field Flower Collective, she ensures seamless project execution, manages vendor relationships, oversees timelines, and delivers exceptional client experiences throughout every commercial refurbishment project.
