Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, mastering drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design. She thrived in fashion design for two decades, serving as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, and Creative Director for Kitex USA where she created Little Star Organic. Her career took her around the world—scouting inspiration in Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, while overseeing production in Hong Kong, China, and India. After years in apparel design, Margo's passion for textiles and décor led her to interior design. She founded Field Flower Collective, LLC in St. Johns County, Florida, where she now creates beautiful, functional spaces for families and businesses. A proud mom to Scarlett, age 10, and Beau, age 6, Margo understands the importance of designing homes that support both everyday moments and life's major milestones.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she majored in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery brings a multicultural perspective to her design work, with a deep appreciation for diverse aesthetics and global inspiration. A mother to a beautiful 4-year-old daughter, she understands the need for spaces that are both stylish and family-friendly. Nery is passionate about DIY projects and has a particular proficiency in minimalism, creating clean, functional environments with intentional design elements. Her love of travel and experiencing new cultures informs her approach to interiors, bringing fresh perspectives and worldly sophistication to every project. At Field Flower Collective, Nery translates her fashion training into thoughtful interior solutions that balance simplicity with warmth.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to Field Flower Collective, with deep experience in merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations management. Having lived across North and South Florida, as well as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, she now calls St. Johns County, FL home. A proud mother to her son Gianni, whom she describes as the most affectionate, kind, and sweet little boy, Alana understands the importance of creating spaces that support family life. Her gift for storytelling and exceptional multitasking abilities allow her to juggle multiple projects seamlessly, ensuring every client receives attentive, organized service. A die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan and self-proclaimed sunshine seeker, Alana's bucket list includes RV travel throughout Canada, with extended time in Banff and Kelowna. At Field Flower Collective, she ensures operations run smoothly while maintaining the high-touch, personalized service that defines the studio.
