Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey brings over two decades of fashion design leadership to Field Flower Collective, having served as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, and Creative Director for Kitex USA where she created the brand Little Star Organic. A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, Margo mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design before thriving in the fashion industry across New York City and San Francisco. Her career included scouting inspiration in global cities like Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, while overseeing production processes in Hong Kong, China, and India. This international experience and passion for textiles and décor sparked her transition to interior design in St. Johns County, Florida, where she founded Field Flower Collective to create flexible creative employment that allows her to be present for her children Scarlett and Beau while delivering exceptional design experiences.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, majoring in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery brings a rich cultural perspective and global aesthetic sensibility to every design project. Her passion for minimalism and DIY projects informs her approach to creating clean, intentional spaces that balance simplicity with warmth. As a mother to a beautiful daughter, Nery understands the importance of designing homes that support family life while maintaining sophisticated style. Her love of travel and experiencing new cultures enriches her design vocabulary, allowing her to incorporate diverse influences into custom, personalized interiors. Nery's proficiency in minimalist design principles helps clients achieve serene, uncluttered spaces that feel both elevated and effortlessly livable.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to Field Flower Collective, with comprehensive experience spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operational management. Having lived across North and South Florida, as well as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, Alana now calls St. Johns County, FL home where she raises her son Gianni. Her diverse geographic experience provides valuable perspective on regional design preferences and lifestyle needs. A self-proclaimed master of multitasking, Alana expertly juggles multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless coordination between design teams, vendors, and clients. Her gift for storytelling translates into compelling client presentations and project narratives that bring design visions to life. Alana's luxury retail background ensures that every Field Flower Collective project delivers exceptional customer experience alongside beautiful design outcomes, while her operational expertise keeps projects on timeline and within budget.
