Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey is the visionary behind Field Flower Collective, bringing over two decades of fashion design leadership to the world of interior styling and event decoration. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Margo mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design before thriving in fashion design roles in both New York City and San Francisco. As Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, she led creative direction while scouting inspiration across Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, and overseeing production processes in Hong Kong, China, and India. She also served as Creative Director for Kitex USA, where she created the brand Little Star Organic. After two decades in apparel design, Margo transitioned to interior design and founded Field Flower Collective in St. Johns County, Florida, where she now creates elevated, livable spaces that celebrate everyday life. A proud mother to Scarlett and Beau, Margo channels her passion for textiles, color, and storytelling into every celebration she styles.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia brings a refined aesthetic and global perspective to Field Flower Collective's celebration design services. A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design, Nery's creative foundation is rooted in precision and visual storytelling. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, she draws inspiration from diverse cultures and travels, infusing her work with rich textures, vibrant color palettes, and modern sensibilities. Nery is passionate about DIY projects and has a proficiency in minimalism, allowing her to create celebration environments that feel both luxurious and approachable. As a mother to a beautiful four-year-old daughter, she understands the importance of designing spaces that balance elegance with family-friendly functionality. Her keen eye for detail and love of curated simplicity make her an invaluable asset to clients seeking sophisticated, stress-free celebration styling.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese is the operational backbone of Field Flower Collective, ensuring every celebration runs seamlessly from concept to completion. With extensive luxury retail experience spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations, Alana brings a strategic mindset and meticulous attention to logistics. A proud mother to her son Gianni, whom she describes as the most affectionate, kind, and sweet little boy, Alana has lived across North and South Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey before settling in St. Johns County, Florida. Her gift for storytelling and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously make her an expert at coordinating complex celebration installations while keeping clients informed and excited. A self-proclaimed multitasking master, Alana ensures that every décor delivery, setup timeline, and styling detail is executed flawlessly. A die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan and sunshine seeker, she brings energy, warmth, and reliability to every event she oversees.
How far in advance should I book celebration decoration services?
We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance for standard celebrations and 8-12 weeks for larger or holiday events. This ensures availability and allows sufficient time for custom décor procurement and detailed planning. However, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when possible.
