Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey brings a distinguished career in fashion design to her interior design practice in St. Johns County, Florida. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City—where she mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design—Margo thrived in the fashion industry for two decades. She served as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, and later as Creative Director for Kitex USA, where she created the brand Little Star Organic. Her career took her across the world's design capitals—Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul—scouting inspiration and overseeing production in Hong Kong, China, and India. This global perspective and keen eye for textiles, color, and detail now inform her interior design work. As a mother to Scarlett and Beau, Margo founded Field Flower Collective to create flexible, meaningful work while crafting spaces that blend luxury with the practical needs of contemporary family living.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, where she majored in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery brings a rich cultural perspective and international aesthetic sensibility to every project. As a mother to a beautiful four-year-old daughter, she understands the importance of creating spaces that serve families while maintaining sophisticated design integrity. Nery's passion for DIY projects and proficiency in minimalist design philosophy allow her to craft interiors that feel both curated and approachable. Her love of travel and experiencing new cultures informs her eclectic design approach, while her hands-on creative skills ensure every detail is thoughtfully executed. As SVP Design at Field Flower Collective, Nery collaborates closely with clients to translate their vision into beautiful, functional realities that celebrate both form and everyday livability.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to her role as Director of Operations at Field Flower Collective. With a comprehensive background spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations, Alana ensures every client interaction reflects the company's commitment to elevated service and seamless project execution. Having lived across North and South Florida, as well as Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, she now calls St. Johns County home, where she raises her son Gianni—whom she describes as the most affectionate, kind, and sweet little boy. Alana's gift for storytelling and master-level multitasking abilities allow her to juggle multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and client communication. Her operational expertise ensures design timelines are met, vendor relationships are strong, and client expectations are exceeded. When she's not orchestrating beautiful design projects, you might find this die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan planning her next RV adventure through Canada or seeking sunshine in her favorite warm-weather destinations.
