Margo Tomsey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design. With two decades in fashion design, she served as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids, Global, scouting inspiration across Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul while overseeing production in Hong Kong, China, and India. She also served as Creative Director for Kitex USA, creating the Little Star Organic brand. After her extensive fashion career, Margo transitioned to interior design, founding Field Flower Collective in St. John's County, Florida. Her passion for textiles and décor, sparked during her fashion experiences, now defines her approach to creating interiors that blend luxury with livability. A proud mother of Scarlett and Beau, Margo brings both professional excellence and family-focused design sensibility to every project.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, majoring in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery brings a rich cultural perspective and passion for minimalism to her design work. As a mother to a beautiful daughter, she understands the importance of creating spaces that balance aesthetic beauty with family functionality. Her love for travel and experiencing new cultures informs her diverse design approach, while her proficiency in DIY projects adds a hands-on, personalized touch to every interior she creates. Nery's minimalist sensibility and eye for clean, functional design make her an invaluable member of the Field Flower Collective team, helping San Diego clients achieve sophisticated yet practical living spaces.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail expertise to Field Flower Collective, with deep experience in merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations. A proud mother to her son Gianni, whom she describes as the most affectionate, kind, and sweet little boy, Alana has lived across North and South Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, currently residing in St Johns County. Her diverse geographic experience gives her unique insight into varied design preferences and regional styles. Known for her exceptional storytelling ability and masterful multitasking skills, Alana seamlessly juggles multiple projects without missing a beat. Her operational excellence ensures that every client project runs smoothly from consultation through installation. A die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan and sunshine seeker, Alana's warm personality and organizational prowess make her the backbone of the Field Flower Collective team, ensuring exceptional client experiences at every touchpoint.
