Founder & CEO
Margo Tomsey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she mastered drawing, painting, sculpture, illustration, digital video, and graphic design. With two decades in fashion design, she served as Vice President of Design for Levi's Kids Global and Creative Director for Kitex USA, where she created the brand Little Star Organic. Her career took her scouting for inspiration across Paris, Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, Berlin, Istanbul, Los Angeles, and Seoul, while overseeing production processes in Hong Kong, China, and India. After twenty years in apparel design, Margo transitioned to interior design, founding Field Flower Collective in St. Johns County, Florida. Her passion for textiles and décor, sparked during her fashion experiences, now shapes homes and commercial spaces throughout the region. A proud mother to Scarlett, age 10, and Beau, age 6, Margo brings the same creative vision and global perspective to every design project she undertakes.
SVP Design
Nery Vargas-Garcia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City, majoring in Fashion Design, Illustration, and Graphic Design. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Nery brings a multicultural perspective to her design work, enriched by her love of travel and experiencing new cultures. As a mother to a beautiful 4-year-old daughter, she understands the importance of creating spaces that balance aesthetic appeal with family functionality. Nery is passionate about DIY projects and has developed a refined proficiency in minimalist design principles. Her keen eye for clean lines, purposeful space planning, and thoughtful material selection helps Field Flower Collective clients achieve elevated, clutter-free environments. Whether designing residential interiors or curating décor solutions, Nery's approach reflects her belief that beautiful spaces should simplify life rather than complicate it.
Director of Operations
Alana Marchese brings extensive luxury retail experience spanning merchandising, marketing, customer experience, and operations to her role as Director of Operations at Field Flower Collective. Having lived across North and South Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey, she now calls St. Johns County home. Her diverse background gives her unique insight into different design aesthetics and regional preferences, which she leverages to ensure smooth project execution and exceptional client experiences. A proud mother to her son Gianni, whom she describes as the most affectionate, kind, and sweet little boy, Alana understands firsthand the importance of creating functional family spaces. Known for her storytelling gift and master multitasking abilities, she can juggle several projects simultaneously without missing a beat. A die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan and sunshine seeker, Alana's bucket list includes RV travel throughout Canada. Her operational expertise ensures every Field Flower Collective project runs seamlessly from consultation to final installation.
